Pukall Lumber Company is a family owned sawmill and local retail lumber yard. We are looking for hard-working, reliable employees to work in our manufacturing operations, converting logs to lumber. The ideal candidate takes pride in his or her personal contributions on the job.
We are interested in filling positions in the following areas:
To prepare building material cost estimates for residential construction, using blueprint conversion software. Ascertain type of materials required using knowledge of building materials and the type of structure to be built. Assist customers, discussing and formulating estimates and resolving issues. Strong computer skills required, as well as knowledge of construction practices.
Warehouse Associate/Forklift Driver
To receive inventory from vendors, load delivery trucks, pull materials for contractors and assist customers. Experience operating a forklift and a general knowledge of building materials desired.

Planer Set Up Operator
Previous experience is not necessary for material handlers and machine operators as training will be provided.
Our manufacturing hours of operation are 6:30 am - 5 pm Monday-Thursday, with occasional Fridays. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time in our challenging, fast-paced work environment.
Pay ranges from $11.00 entry level to $22.00 skilled tradesmen, based on experience.
